The car I ordered has steering issuesUpdated a year ago

Please follow the steps below so we can better assist you with finding a resolution:

Step 1: Make sure battery is fully charged (10 hours)

Step 2: Test the battery using a volt multi-meter. Please check out this video for how to test the battery. https://youtu.be/mC5EjeJVv5M

Step 3: Does the vehicle make a clicking sound when you try to turn the steering wheel or with the remote control?

If YES please proceed to Step 4

If No please proceed to Step 5

Step 4: If the the car makes a clicking sound when trying to turn the wheel then request the following part: Control Board

If you do not wish to continue using the remote control feature you can also fully remove the steering motor. This will free up the front wheels and allow for easier turning by the driver. But please note that the remote control function will no longer work with steering.

Step 5: Perform a steering motor inspection. If the steering motor is difficult to turn, the issue is with the gears in the steering motor. This can be fixed via the following methods:

  • If you do not wish to continue using the remote control feature you can also fully remove the steering motor. This will free up the front wheels and allow for easier turning by the driver. But please note that the remote control function will no longer work with steering.
  • Lubricate the gears in the steering motor.
  • Install a new steering motor

Please request the following part to get the steering motor replaced: Steering Motor
